Teaching Aid PPT, board Teaching Procedure Step 1: Warm-up Sing a song: What does he need? (P62) Step 2: Practice Practice 1 (listening) Teacher shows pictures of foods and guide students to speak (e.g.: juice, rice, fruit, salt, tofu, meat, vegetables, sugar and so on.) Students read through the 4 questions on the book. Play the listening script, and check their answers. Students read the listening script together. Practice 2 (speaking) Teacher shows the pictures of practice 2 on the slide, emphasize “need” and “have” in the sentence, and “√” is for “have” while “x” is for “need”. Invite students to practice with the teacher first, in order to be the example for the rest of the class. Students practice in pairs.
