Unit7 SectionB 2b Reading教学设计 Should I be allowed to make my own decisions? 课型: 阅读 执教人: 单位: 一、教材分析 本课围绕主人公“LiuYu”是否应该被允许做出自己的决定这一话题展开,给出不同人物观点。通过课文学习,学生将学会不同意见的表达方式以及一些新词汇,并进一步巩固宾语从句用法,从而能在日常生活中用英语恰当地表达自己的观点,有效与他人沟通。 二、教学目标 (一)知识目标 1.Words and phrases to remember: support, enter, succeed, achieve, choice, taught, chance get in the way, care about, make one’s decision, be serious about, spend time on, achieve one’s dream, have a chance to do sth etc. 2. Sentences to pay attention to: 1).He needs to think about what will happen if he doesn’t end up as a professional runner. They always talk about what will happen if I don’t succeed. 2).Only then will I have a chance of achieving my dream. (二)能力目标 Cultivate one’s reading ability in two ways: read in paragraphs and read in whole. Learn to express one’s opinion (三)情感目标 Learn to arrange one’s time on schoolwork and hobby properly by reading. 三、教学重点、难点 1.表达意见的相关词汇及句型:get in the way, care about, make one’s decision, be serious about, spend time on, achieve one’s dream, have a chance to do---etc. 2. 学会表达自己的观点方式 3.阅读技能学习,侧重速读与精读技能学习,熟练运用到阅读过程中 【设计理念】能够运用句型组织句子;并能通过语言知识,学会熟练表达自己的观点,达到“练中学,学中用。” 四、教学方法 任务型语言教学法、自主探究、 【设计理念】设计合理并具有挑战性的任务,让学生通过使用目标语言,体验成功之快乐;运用各种学习活动,调动学生内在的学习动机。 五、教学过程 I. Lead in Show the pictures of Li Yuchun and Liu Xiang and think about the following questions: 1)What are you going to be in the future? 2)Do your parents agree with what you do? 【设计理念】本环节我先通过出示李宇春、刘翔的图片,提出问题,引起学生兴趣,进而借助梦想话题自然导入本课话题,激发学生探究欲望(Lead-in)。 II.
