教学目标:
能够听说、认读句型:How much is it? It’s fifty-six yuan. Can I help you? Yes, I want a toy train.引导学生从整体上感知、模仿、学习和体验语言,学会如何购物,在创设的真实情景中进行简单交流。
重点难点:
能够听、说、认读本课的目标语言。
能够在真实情境中灵活运用这些功能语句进行交际。
教具准备:
电脑、图片、PPT课件、教材配套光盘
教学过程:
Step 1: Warm-up
Free talk. Do you like shopping? Where do you usually go? Who’d like to go with you? What do you think of this shop?
Show the picture of Lesson 7, then ask and answer.
T: What does Dick want to buy?
S: He wants to buy a toy train.
T: What colour does he like?
S:He likes blue.
T: How much is it?
S: It’s fifty-six yuan.
Act out the dialogue.
Step 2: Presentation
Show the picture of Lisa and her mother.
T: Look! Who are they? Lisa, Lisa’s sister, Lisa’s brother and their mum are coming. Let’s say hello to them.
Why do they come here? And what do they want to buy? Let’s listen and think.
Lisa’s mum wants to buy some toys for her children.
Let’s learn: toy plane, toy ship, toy boat.
Can I help you?
Yes. I want a….
How much is it?
It’s …yuan.
Dialogue.
Saleswoman: Can I help you?
Lisa: Yes. I want a toy train. How much is it?
S: It’s forty-five yuan.
Lisa’s brother: I want a toy plane. How much is it?
S: It’s fifty-one yuan. Can I help you?
Lisa’s sister: Yes, I want a toy ship.
Lisa’s mother: Your little brother wants a toy boat. How much?
S: It’s eighty yuan.
M: We’ ll take them.
Step 3: Practice
Work in pairs. A: Salesman/ Saleswoman B: Customer
T: So many toys here. Let’s play a game with them. Now, I’ ll be the saleswoman.
S: Can I help you?
C: Yes. I want to buy a …. How much is it?
S: It’s….
Let’s act. Choose your favourite sence, then do the dialogue. Can I have a toy…?
Let’s chant.
She and he.
How happy they will be.
You and me,
How busy we will be!
Step 4: Language use. Work in groups. Four envelopes.
You have a foreign friend. He is an American boy, Peter. Let’s buy some Chinese characteristics gifts for him. ( Make up a dialogue.)
Write an e-mail to him.
Make up a new dialogue. (Shopping.)
