Teaching objective 1. Help students learn the title and the passage structure . 2.Help students better understand the changes of the Spring Festival Eves dinner. 3.Make students critically analyse the phenomena of various tradition changes. Key points 1.Guide students to find out the changes of the Spring Festival’s traditions. 2.Enable students to have a better understanding of the importance of the Spring Festival. Difficult points 1.Guide students to learn about the passage structure and the usage of rhetorical questions. 2.Guide students to have a debate about the changes of the Spring Festival traditions. Teaching process Lead in Procedures purpose Teacher’s activity Students’ activity 1.Teacher plays the video and show some traditions of Chinese Spring Festival. Ask students to find out the traditions mentioned in the video. 2.Teacher asks students to find out the Spring Festival’s traditions 3.Teacher asks students “Among the traditions, which one is the most important?
