He/She is ___ing. 教具学具准备 Multimedia CD PPT 教学方法 Performance Game Demonstrate 学法指导 Practice in pairs/groups 教 学 过 程 教学随笔 Step 1 Class Opening Greeting and Review: In this unit,Jenny and Danny are having a trip to Beijing, can u guess what is Danny / Jenny doing in the picture?(Show pictures of Jenny and Danny which are covered. Let students guess. We can use “Is he/she doing sth. ?”) Step 2 Lead in Show some pictures to the class by PPT and present the sentences. What is he/she doing? Show a picture that in the text and ask “ what are they doing?” Let students read the text by themselves and answer two questions. Step 3. New Concepts(Part 1) Read the text by themselves. Q1: Who is on the train? S: Jenny, Danny, Li Ming, the man, the woman and the baby are on the train. Q2:What are they doing? Please look at my picture. What is Danny doing? Ss: Danny is playing with the baby. T: What is the man doing? Ss: The man is playing cards with his friends. T:What is the woman doing? Ss: The woman is reading the newspaper. Read the word “newspaper” twice, let students try to find the difference .
