Teaching Purposes At the end of the lesson, students will be able to describe their pictures, using the target language.
1.The words must be grasped: perform(v.) agree (v.) glue (v.) advise (v.)
2.Phrases : advise sb. to sth. be up to agree with
3.Sentences: 1).That’s a good picture.
2). You look like a dancer.
3). You played the erhu and I performed a dance.
4). It’s up to you.
4.Importance and difficulty:
Students may find it difficult to find out which picture Li Ming chose in the recording.
Students may make mistakes when writing their description under their pictures.

Students spell the words and say some sentences.

Come to “Think about it”. Let the students talk about the two questions.
Answer the two questions.

Teach students to read the new words and explain the new words to them.
Students read the new words and try to understand the expressions.
Let the students know how to read the words and get to understand the usage of the new expressions.

Ask some students to listen to the text and circle the correct answers.

Read the text quietly and answer the questions.
