PAGE PAGE 20 华裔美国文学作品中华身份再现的简要分析 ——以《喜福会》为例 摘要：华裔美人作为美国的少数群体在自我发展的过程中一直处于迷茫中，他们对自我身份迷茫——不知自己到底是美国人还是中国人。他们在这样的夹缝中生存着，也在这样的夹缝中创作出有着自己特色的华裔美国文学作品。在这些作品中看出他们对自我身份的不断发现。本文通过对美国华裔文学作品《喜福会》的分析来展现华裔美人对自我中华身份部分再现的不断认识和认同。 关键词：华裔美国文学，喜福会，中华身份 A Brief Analysis of Chinese Identity Re-Foundation in Chinese American literature take The Joy Luck Club as an example Abstract: As a minority group in American, Chinese American confused about their own identities: whether they are American or Chinese. On this condition, they made their own Chinese American literature. The founding of Chinese identities is one of the themes of Chinese American literature. The founding of Chinese identities of the characters and the author of the novel The Joy Luck Club is the focus of this thesis. It uses plenty of examples in the novel itself and the experience of the author to support the idea of founding the Chinese identity themselves. The first phase began about two centuries ago and lasted for about half of the century. At the end of Qing Dynasty, the article of Chinese American authors started to been published on local newspapers, the main subject of these articles is to fight against the anti-China trend in the USA. One of the representative work at that time is “Letter of the Chinamen to His Excellency, Govenor Bigler”. The next phase began at the end of 19th century, within this period, Chinese American authors shifted their work from the statements in newspapers to autobiography.
