PAGE PAGE 19 中英颜色词的文化内涵对比研究 摘要：颜色词作为词汇中的一部分，有着丰富多彩的文化内涵。不同民族的历史背景、文化差异、思维方式以及心理状态等造就了他们对于颜色词的不同理解。 本文主要对比研究英汉颜色词，首先介绍了研究意义、论文结构以及研究目的，其次，概述国内外有关颜色词的研究情况，再确定基础颜色词，运用大量的实例对它们的文化内涵进行对比研究，然后探究产生这些颜色词文化内涵不同的原因，如认知角度、宗教信仰、自然环境等，最后总结本文如何选词，通过什么形式分析这类词，然后归纳出结论：虽然中英颜色词文化内涵有很大的差别，但总体来说还是有相似的，比如，他们的文化内涵都是多样化的，都有褒贬义等。 本论文有助于理解中英颜色词文化内涵的差异，其研究成果可以运用于跨文化交际和外国语言学习当中。 关键字：颜色词，对比研究，文化内涵 The?Contrastive Study on Cultural Connotations of English and Chinese Color Terms Abstract:?As a part of the vocabulary, color terms have abundant cultural connotation. Different ethnic people hold different comprehension of color terms because of different historic background, culture, thinking patterns and psychological conditions. This paper mainly studies the English and Chinese color terms. Firstly, it introduces the significance, research structure and aims of the study. Secondly, it summarizes the foreign and domestic studies of the color terms. Thirdly, it confirms the research objects and then studies their cultural connotations by applying a large number of examples. Fourthly, it discusses?the causes of the differences of cultural connotations of these color terms,?such as cognition, religions and natural environments. Finally, it concludes how to select the color terms, how to analyze them, and deduces that although their connotations have big differences, generally speaking, they still have something in common, such as their diversification, commendatory and derogatory meanings and ect. This paper is beneficial to the understanding of the different cultural connotation of English and Chinese color terms, and its findings can be applied to cross-cultural communication and foreign language learning.
