She is from Canada. “Where +be +主语+from？〞意为。Where用来对地点进行提问。此句型是由Where引导的特殊疑问句，读降调。答复时用：主语+be from+地名。 Be动词有am is are 三种形式 ，假设主语为第三人称单数形式，就用is，假设是复数形式就用are。如：--Where is she from? She is from Canada。 Where are Mike and Jim from? They are from Japan. 5．Are you from England？你来自英格兰吗？ 当含有be 动词的陈述句变一般疑问句时，采用“一调二改三问号〞的方法即可。所谓“一调〞即把be 动词调至句首〔主语的前面〕。二改即把be动词的首字母改为大写，把主语的第一个大写字母改为小写〔人名除外〕。“三问号〞即在句尾加上问号。如：He is from China.改为Is he from China?
