Warm-up Greetings: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls! Sing the song “How are you today?” together. 2. Review Play a game “Simon says” with the students. Use the vocabulary they learned last time as the commands. Review the sentence structure “I have a…” and “Do you have a…?” with the students. 3. Presentation Show pictures of different pets on the screen, and ask the students to name them together. Introduce the new words “cat”, “fish”, “bird”, “guinea pig”, “hamster” and “turtle” by showing the pictures and saying the words. Teach the sentence structure “How many… do you have?” and “I have…”. Use flashcards to practice the new words and sentence structures. Let the students repeat after the teacher. 4.
