中文摘要 培养学生的阅读兴趣、提高学生的写作能力是英语教学的重要内容之一。虽 然现有的阅读资源很多，但学生的阅读兴趣和能力难以得到有效的培养和提高。 在这样的背景下，英语报刊是一种提高和训练学生英语能力的好材料，既能够培 养学生的阅读兴趣，又能帮助学生掌握有效的阅读技能。英语报刊给学生提供了 充分接触英语、理解和使用英语的机会。 本研究共分五章：第一章概述了研究的目的和意义；第二章着重于梳理英语 教学中阅读与写作之间的关系以及二语习得理论中对于输入和输出的理论阐述； 第三章主要分析了报刊英语和上海学生英语报的特点，并且以问卷调查的方式对 英语报刊的教学现状做了具体的调查与分析；第四章通过实证研究、案例分析， 和学生访谈进行了英语报刊阅读教学的相关研究，从定量分析与定性分析两个方 面对英语报刊阅读教学和学生写作水平的相关性进行了分析；第五章是研究的结 论和反思。 实验结果表明： 1）英文报刊阅读有助于提高学生的学习积极性和自信心。 2) 进行英语报刊阅读教学能提高学生的写作能力。 3) 既提供可理解性输入又积极鼓励输出的报刊阅读教学比只提供可理解性输入 的报刊阅读教学更能提高学生的写作能力。 期望本研究能帮助解决阅读教学中的一些实际问题，为提高初中生的阅读和 写作能力尽一点微薄之力，同时希望能有更多的教师将英文报刊阅读运用于他们 的阅读教学实践中，切实培养学生的阅读兴趣，促进写作能力的提高。 关键词：英语报刊阅读，英语写作教学，写作能力 v Abstract One of the key elements in the English Language teaching and learning is to cultivate students’ interest in reading and improve their ability to write. Although there are quite a few reading materials available, it is still a challenge to effectively enhance students reading interest. English newspapers can offer good materials that may help improve students reading interests and develop their reading skills. With the help of English newspapers, students can be more exposed to English and have more opportunities to understand and use it. This paper is composed of five chapters. Chapter One mainly deals with the significance and purpose of this research. Chapter Two focuses on the theoretical perspectives of the relationship between input and output in Second Language Acquisition Theory and the relationship between reading and writing in English teaching.
