AbstractThe absorbable chitosan material was prepared through graft copolymerized reaction of carboxymethyl chitosan . The structure of the product was characterized through FT-IR, The thermal stability of product was studied by means of TG, The relations of imbitition ability and condition of reaction, the type and concentration of electrolytic solution and pH of the solution were studied.
This thesis aims to apply absorbable chitosan material to fast hemostatic fields and study primarily on its hemostatic properties and biocompatibility. The hemostatic models of ear artery, femoral artery, spleen of New Zealand rabbits were applied to study the hemostatic properties of the absorbable chitosan material. We find that this material could be hard adhered to the wound and have a good hemostatic properties, The hemostatic time for the absorbable chitosan material was short of the control groups (P0.05). Moreover, after usage this material, the wound’s surface recovers well. The biocompatibilities of the absorbable chitosan material were studied through the skin stimulation test and acute systemic toxicity test. We find this materia
