Unit One Lesson1 Choosing a Flat. (第1课时) 一、教学目标: 1. Review the Comparatives and Superlatives of adjectives and adverbs; 2. Talk about flats; 3. Learn the new modal verb; 二、教学重点与难点: Understand and use should” according to different context correctly. 三、敎前准备: Textbook, students book, a recorder and a computer; 四、教学过程: Step1: Teachers activities: Show some pictures of flats and ask questions :How many rooms are there in your flat? What are they? How big is your flat? Students answer them and remember new words. (flat,kitchen,bathroom,dining room,square-meter and so on) Step2: Teachers activities: Ask students to read the plans of the three flats and then answer the questions: Which flat is the biggest of the three? Which flat has the largest sitting room? How large is it? The students answer and talk with each other. Teaching aims: Review some modal verbs and let the students learn and understand the new one: should Step3: Teachers activities: Which flat do you like best? Why? Students answer it. Step4: Teacher’s activities: Quick responses on some modal verbs :( can, may, must, need): I cant find my pen. May I use your pen? Can you speak loudly in the reading room? Can you get to school at 8 oclock? Must we keep our classroom clean? Need you do exercises every day? Students activities: 1. Answer these questions. 2. Translate sentences on Page 5 and try to understand the meaning of the word: should. Teaching Aims; Review some modal verbs and let the students learn and understand the new one: should. 五、 Homework: 1. Copy the new words. 2. Pair work with your partners to talk about your flat. 3.
