Abstract: The prem ature failures harm of the sem -i rigid type base asphalt pavem ents is very serious in the expressway,
such as craze, floating oil, flak ing andwheel track ing, etc. Itw ill affect the road operation and appearance of road surface,
reduce smoothness control of road surface, and m ore it w ill reduce the whole in tensity and shorted life of road surface. The
cause and m echanism of the road crack are aralyzed and the prevention and counterm easure are put forw ard in th is paper.
