Abstract： Nonlinearityofthesweepcircuitofstreakcameradistortsthetimeandintensityinformationof
thestreakimage．Inordertomakethestreakimageclosertotheactualobjectandtoimprovethemeasuringpre—
cision，thispaperpresentsacorrectionalgorithm basedonimageprocessing．Itfitsthesweeptimecurvebased
onthenominalsweeptimetoobtainthesweeptimeofeachchannel，andchoosesthemeanvalueofthesweep
timeasacriterion．Accordingtothenumericalrelationbetweenthecriterionandthesweeptimeofeachchan—
nel，thepositionandintensityofeachpixelarecorrected．Theresultindicatesthatthisalgorithm canreducethe
nonlinearitytolessthan2％ from theoriginal8 ．
