The generalm ean analysismodel and the model built w ith p ile and soil independently in deep m ixing p ile compound foundationw ere compared. The analysis show s that the rational calcu lation ranges are different in different analysismodels. The filter function of soil and its nonlinear p lastic feature have great effect on the analysis results. The deep m ixing pile and the soil should be built respectively in the analysismodel in deep m ixing pile compound foundation. The analysis results have certain in- structive sign ificance to engineering practice.
