Expression of Brain- derivedNeurotrophicFactor (BDNF) in Injured Rat Brain Jia Cong lin , et al. ( De-

= Abstract Objective T o interpret BDNF have protective function to injured neuron throu h measurin
expression of BDNF in cerebral cortex and hippocampus CA2 of t he mechanically injured rat cerebrum. Methods
T o establish the model of injured rat ceredrum and measure expression of BDNF in different time wit h the
method of immunihistochemitstry in injured rat cerebrum, to compare w ith the false operative roup and between
both two roups. Results Expression of BDNF exist in the injured rat brain, namely, expression of BDNF obver-i
ously increase t han the false operative roup. From the comparin between two roups, increasin expression t ime
is in 1 hour to 12hour after injury, the peak of expressive BDNF is in 2 hour ( P 001) . onclusions BDNF
can protect neuron avoid to be injured in the dama ed rat brain.
