E. Br . Influence of microemulsion types on pow er of resolving flavonoids was invest igated w ith SDS/ nC H OH/ nC H / H O microemulsion as eluant on polyamide film. The flavonoids were separated entirely. 4 9 7 16 2 Seven flavonoids spots w ere obtained respectively from leaves and fruit, but they are not identical. Compared w ith the general mobile phase composed of C H OHCH COOHH O= 415 the sensitivity of detection w as improved markedly 4 9 2 and the results w ere satisfactory. This new chromatographic method is simple, accurate for separation and ident ifica tion of flavonoids in C. p innatif ida Bge.var. maj or N. E. Br .
