=Abstract Objective To study the expression and activation of p3 MAPK and the changes of TNF-A, IL-10 in TN-
BS-induced colitis, and to explore the effect andmechanism of p3 MAPK in expermi ental colitis. Methods Twenty male
SD ratsw ere random ly divided into normal control group ( N) and model group (M ). Colitisw as induced by intrarectal
adm in istration ofTNBS/ ethano.l The colonic inflammation including disease activity index ( DA I), colon ic macroscopic
damage index ( CMDI) and tissue damage index (TD I) w ere observed, the levels of IL-10, TNF-A in serum w ere detected
