In the absence of the model, can we solve this problem by using the pure algebraic methods that we learned in high school? Through studying, we found that: though the question looks very complex, there is a very simple and obvious rule. Through studying the data, we found that when n≤m, the part number is doubled with the increase of n, while nm, although the data is not doubled, the sequence of number of the difference between the real data and the date which we expect to be doubled, (the loss mentioned in the text),is in accord with Pascal triangle. However, it is just preliminary conjecture, and then we use the conjecture to deduce the formula of general term about n and m, and strictly proved its correctness.
