The clinical Research of Tang bingning combined with cobalt ammonium injection treating Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy Specialty: Traditional Chinese Internal Medicine Author: Wang ting ting Tutor: Professor Zhang Dexian ABSTRACT Purpose: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Tang bining combined with cobalt ammonium treating the diabetic peripheral neuropathy and relative advantage of simple western medicine. Method: The prospective randomized method would be adapted in dividing sixty DPN patients into two groups, one is treatment group (Tang bining combined with cobalt ammonium injection 500ug each time), the other is control group(cobalt ammonium injection 500ug each time), each group has thirty patients who correspond with the diagnosis standard. Then compared with clinical symptom score and nerve conduction velocity of both sides after eight weeks treatment with statistical method. Result: Two groups of patients in clinical symptoms and nerve conduction velocity have improved . The total effective rate is 63.33% in treatment group,while its 83.33% in control group. Tang bining combined with western medicine is much better than the control group in the clinical symptom and the nerve conduction velocity . Conclusion: Tang bining combined with cobalt ammonium has great effect on DPN of qi and yin deficiency and blood stasis and also well know for its safety. This would provide new idea in treating with DPN of TCM.
