The clinical research for systematical using the locking compression plate to treat the fracture of proximal of humeral shaft. specialty:Orthopedics of TCM Author:Qin Dong Tutor:Prof.Zhang Junzhong Abstract Objective:To investigate the curative effect for the PHILOS and functional exercise used to treat the fracture of proximal of humeral shaft. Method:Collection the patients who have fracture of proximal of humeral shaft(two, three, four-part fractures) and received to the affiliated hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the last two years (from February,2010 to February,2012 ).And the AO locking compression plate were used in the treatment of these patients.Then all these patients used the way that require early 、single-arm and advance gradually span to training after operation . Postoperative investigation was made in the way of clinic, telephone, mail, etc.All cases were follow-up for 6 months, and the results of the shoulder joint function were assessed in accordance with the international NEER score. Result:At the end of the 6 month,all the 36 patients were used the NEER score to , assess shoulder s function.There are 17 excellent individual，16 favorable individual，2 no-satisfied individual and only one failed instance. The rate of fine result is 91.67 ％. Conclusion: On the basis of the strict control of the surgical indications and scientific, accurate operation for using AO locking compression plate to treat the fracture of proximal of humeral shaft,and using the way that training shoulder line early, single-arm,and advance gradually span is an effective treatment method.
