Abstract Rural urbanization has great significance in developing rural economy，improving habitation condition and cities’appearance，and reducing the distance between countries and cities．To resolve the problems of countries，peasants and agriculture，we must go along a road of rural urbanization with Chinese characteristic． After summarizing the process of rural urbanization in developed countries and our country， this paper narrows systematic analysis into their different rural urbanization mode．Besides，this paper puts emphasis on the experiences and lessons of rural urbanization mode in America and Japan．Based on researching rural urbanization mode in China，this paper points out the main problems in the process of rural urbanization，which includes system，policies，idea，land， programming and fund． From the view of the connotation of rural urbanization，rural urbanization is always along with the development of social economy．That means to unify rural factors and urban factors． Urbanization is not the common result of social development，however,it is a process which human have to experience．Meanwhile，this paper studies the significance of rural urbanization Furthermore．it discusses the questions about how to evaluate rural urbanization． This paper summarizes kinds of pattems of rural urbanization，and brings forward nine thoughtful ideas．Combining with the rural urbanization of Changfiang Road in Qingdao Economic-Technological Development Areas，this paper analyses its achievements and problems then put forward some rational advices．In the end,this paper presents the prospects of its development ofrural urbanization． The theory and experience of rural urbanization is very important parts in our socialistic modern construction This paper does research with the combination of theories and examples， whose researching production has value ofreference in Chinese rural urbanization． Key words：the problems of countries，peasants and agriculture；rural urbanization；mode and strateg
