The production situation and development countermeasures of mutton sheep in Gansu Anxi Summary Sheep industry is one of the main industries in Anxi county．This paper analyses the mutton sheep production situation and development trends．There are many problems in sheep production in Anxi county：old management，serious degeneration of grassland，unreasonable sheep structure，and out-of-date mutton processing procedure．Eight suggestions raised for the future development of mutton sheep industry in Anxi，on the basis of the advantages feed resources，local feature and structure regulation and current production situation in Anxi：1．decide developing goal to accelerate commodity lamb production；2．choose a reasonable production mold to promote the amplification of the population scale；3．utilize feed resources reasonably to increase feed utility rate；4．introduce hi曲quality breeds to produce new breeds；5．popularize indoor sheep production and raise scientific breeding level； 6．accomplish disease control and prevent system to insure safe production；7．change management method to industrialize sheep production；8．reinforce technical training to improve science and technological quali移ofthe farmer Key words：mutton sheep production；situation；development countermeasures 甘肃省安西县肉羊生产现状及发展对策 甘肃省安西县肉羊生产现状及发展 1国内外肉羊业发展的现状 1．1国外肉羊业生产现状 近20多年来，随着社会经济的发展和人民生活水平的不断提高，人类的膳 食结构发生重大改变，国际上羊肉的需求量逐渐增大，肉羊业在世界范围内得到 快速发展，羊肉产量迅速增加。发达国家已实现羊肉产业化生产，美国、英国、 新西兰等国具有完整的良种繁育体系，优质羔羊繁育体系，草地畜牧业生产体系， 屠宰加工和贸易体系。新西兰生产的羊肉95％以上用来出口，主要销往中东、西 欧、美国。澳大利亚、新西兰、英国、美国等发达国家是世界上主要肉羊生产国。 以英国为例，1994年存栏绵羊29300万只，出栏14773万只，出栏率50．4％，出 栏羊只平均胴体重19kg。发达国家肉羊生产的主要特点表现为以下几个方面。 (I)有专门化肉羊品种(或品系) 追求母羊性成熟早，全年发情，产羔率高， 酬高，肉用性能好的品种。 专门化肉羊品种育种的目标，主要是 泌乳力强，羔羊生长发育快，饲科报 (2)有相对完整的良种繁育及杂交利用体系这个体系包括繁殖体系、育 肥体系和羊肉的销售加工体系，但关键是肉羊繁育体系。如美国的肉羊繁育体系 主要包括纯种羊繁殖，后备母羊生产和商品肥羔生产三个环节。通过科学的经济 杂交，母羊产羔率可提高20～30％，羔羊增重提高20％，成活率提高40％。专门 化品种杂交效果更好。 (3)发展肥羔生产利用专门化肉羊品种，或利用肉用品种公羊与地方品 种杂交，利用杂种优势发展肥羔生产。由于羔羊的生长高峰在l～5月龄，在此 期间，羔羊体重增长快，蛋白质沉积能力强，因而胴体瘦肉率高，饲料报酬达到 3～4：l，而成年羊的饲料报酬为6～8：1，羔羊每增加
