ABSTRACT Along with information technology、especially global interact and electronic commerce’S fast development，the radical changes have happened in the style of market competition．In market competition in the 21st century,corporations that are fast in response wilt defeat corporations that are slow in response．Competition between e矗tcrprises has ascended from cost．based competition and quality．based competition to time—based competition，time—based competition as a strategic weapon is as important as capital、productivity、quality and even innovation．7rime—based competition will make corporations acquire advantages in cost．Beginning with enterprise’S research and development，time—based competition is through the entire system，corporation’S time—based competition happens in all fields，for example product’S research and development、production、sale、after service and SO on， corporations acquire competitive advantage by decreasing every process’time。 Time-based competition OCCURS in many fields．The thesis puts stress on investigating corporations how to shorten order distribution cycle and increase competitive activity．Beginning with construction of order distribution cycle time，it explains there are three factors：big lot disposal、low efficiency in order distribution flow and disharmony in order distribution chain that cause long order cycle time now, discusses the three factors how to cause long order distribution cycle，and brings forward two ways：Using quick response system and information technology to solve these questions．By successful cases，it testifies that using quick response system will eliminate the effect of order quantity thoroughly,greatly shorten order distribution cycle，decrease cost and satisfy the require of customers by fast transport．The thesis also testifies that by using information technology to redesign the process ofthe entire research and development、production、sale and after service、manage all order process with computers and reconstruct order d
