Abstract
Under the background of new curriculum,chemical teachers should change themselves
from‘experience’’to‘research”.To carry out chemical research is the only way to realize this
change.It will be far more significant in chemical teacher and chemical education to
research on the situations ofchemical teachers’teaching research and analyze the strategies of
improving chemical teachers’teaching research ability.In this dissertation,from the
perspective of chemistry teacher,the author studies on the research of chemical teaching
conducted by chemistry teacher through full investigation and analysis,by using different
methods such as observation,conversation and qualitative analysis.Through the literature
review of chemistry teachers’chemical teaching research under the new curriculum,the
author elaborated present situation and tendency of chemical teachers’teaching research
thoroughly.From the investigation and analysis of the six aspects..awareness,content,time,
purpose,extema!conditions and approaches of teaching research,the author finds that
chemistry teachers’understanding and degree of attention towards teaching research are
different,the situation of teaching research is imbalanced,and there exists some certain
problems on the atmosphere and external conditions of teaching research.
After the analysis of the existed problems,the author combines his own experience and
teaching practice,makes an exploration on ways and strategies of the improvement of
chemistry teachers’ability of teaching research,and puts forward some referential opinions.
Hope that this research can provide some theoretical bases for the teaching research activities
conducted by chemistry teachers,the improvement of their professional quality and their
professional development.
