(2) Make students take pride in our country through human spaceflight of the People’s Republic of china (PRC) 二、Teaching difficulties: Describe the plan of space travel Using “Present Perfect Tense” 三、Teaching key Points: Grasp:(1)the key vocabulary(2)key structures(3) the usage of“already yet” 四、Teaching methods: PWP approach, listening, speaking, reading and practicing, discussing and drills 五、Teaching tools: Tape recorder and video Prepare before teaching 1.Students read the new words loudly. 2.Daily report 六、Teaching procedures Step1:Warm-up Teacher plays video about human spaceflight, ask the students to watch it Group work: Let students discuss it freely. Step2:Lead-in: 1.Teacher asks:What can you see on the video? The students answer:Earth moon,astronauts space Teacher says:good,you are very clever! Can you think out more related words? 2.Groupwork:Ask students to discuss or look them up in the dictionary to solve it. Summary: air stars sun scientists space shuttle planet universe space station Reading: Ask students to read the words after teacher, then read the words chorally and individually. Step 3: Listen and speak Ask students to listen to the tape and number the words as they hear them , then check them with partner. Play it again for students to check and correct. Reading and listening: students read through the sentences in Activity 2 , then play the tape again , ask students to check the true sentences as they hear them. Play it again ,let the student
