Methods SD rats were randomized into 3 groups: model group (DCM group, n = 15), Val group (DCM + Val group, n = 15), the control group (C group, n = 10). DCM group and DCM + Val groups were given intraperitoneal injection of doxorubicin, DCM + Val were given valsartan ig .8 w, the use of Western blotting, immunohistochemistry myocardial tissue expression of apoptosis-related protein, TUNEL assay apoptosis index (CMAI). Results Western blot showed, DCM group and DCM + Val group in rat heart VDAC, Smac protein relative expression level was significantly higher than C group (all P lt;0.05, compared with the DCM, DCM + Val rats, myocardial tissue levels of both proteins was significantly decreased ( P lt;0.05. immunohistochemistry showed that, DCM group and DCM + Val groups VDAC, Smac-positive cells was significantly more than the C group, compared with the DCM, DCM + Val groups of two protein-positive cells was significantly reduced. TUNEL results showed that, DCM group and DCM + Val CMAI rats compared with C increased significantly (all P lt;0.05, compared with the DCM, DCM + Val rats CMAI decreased, but the difference was not statistically significance (Pgt; 0.05.
