Methods 16 patients were treated with fascia lata graft for repair of old Achilles tendon rupture and followed up. Results All patients were 2 to 3 years by an average of 28 months of follow-up, according to Arner #178; Lindhohm evaluation criteria to determine, excellent in 12 cases, good in 3 and poor in 1 case, clinical excellent and good rate was 93.8%. Conclusion fascia lata transplantation in the treatment of old Achilles tendon rupture is a better approach.
