Methods Isolation of graft human corneal epithelial cells and limbal stem cells. In both cell monolayer, the observation of allogeneic peripheral blood lymphocytes to mitogen concanavalin A (ConA) of the proliferative response. In addition, the two kinds of cell culture supernatant was transferred directly to the ConA-stimulated lymphocyte proliferation by the system in order to observe the release of two kinds of cells, the inhibitory effect of certain factors. The results of single corneal limbal stem cells to ConA-stimulated peripheral blood lymphocyte proliferation response to the imposition of effective inhibitory effect. Limbal stem cell culture supernatant of ConA-stimulated peripheral blood lymphocyte proliferation system, separation of supernatant of 72h showed significant inhibitory effect. Conclusion Limbal stem cells by cell interaction and (or) release of some inhibitory factor on lymphocyte activation and proliferation play a potential inhibitory effect.
