Hybrid total hip arthroplasty femoral head necrosis Efficacy of the treatment of advanced

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 11 Hybrid total hip arthroplasty femoral head necrosis Efficacy of the treatment of advanced Study: Lung victory Liaoping Cai Zhang Song Rongfutangxian [Abstract] Objective: To evaluate the hybrid total hip arthroplasty for the treatment of advanced clinical efficacy of femoral head necrosis. Methods: from April 2004 to April 2007 Applied mixed treatment of 21 patients with advanced hip joint in patients with femoral head necrosis. Results: were followed up 1 to 4 years, an average of 2.6 years; the whole group suffering from Harris hip function score: preoperative (45.0 + -5.8) points, the last follow-up (87.5 + -3.9) points; after high rate of 86% (18/21) . Conclusion: Hybrid total hip arthroplasty for femoral head necrosis in patients with advanced significantly improved quality of life, long-term effect needs further follow-up. [Keywords:] hybrid total hip replacement; bone necrosis; femoral head Abstract Objective: To assess the clinical effects of hybrid total hip replacement (HTHR) for patients with late osteonecrosis of the femoral head. Methods: 21 cases of late osteonecrosis of the femoral head were treated with Hybrid total hip replacement from April 2004 to April 2007 . Results: All patients were followed up for at least 2.6 years postoperatively. The mean preoperative Harris hip score is 45 + -5.8 and Harris hip score for the last time of follow-up is 87.5 + -3.9. The postoperative rate of full function is 85 percent. Conclusion: The life quality of patients with late osteonecrosis of the femoral head is remarkably improved by HTHR. The long-term effect need to be farther studied.
