[Abstract] Objective To establish a inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry of inorganic elements and content of Euonymus fortunei method. Methods nitric acid for digestion, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) Determination of Euonymus fortunei samples Ba, Cu, Sr, Ti, Zn, Mn, P, Cr, K, Li, Na, Ni, Mg , Al, Fe and other inorganic elements. The results of the relative standard deviation of 0.78% ~ 3.27%, the recovery (n = 5) was 99.94% ~ 118.3%. Studies have shown that Euonymus fortunei is rich in trace elements beneficial to humans, trace elements in herbal pharmacology may play a certain role. ICP-AES method conclusions fast, accurate, simple to measure the content of inorganic elements in Euonymus fortunei.

Abstract: ObjectiveTo develop a method for determination of the inorganic elements in Euonymus fortunei.MethodsA method for determination of Ba, Cu, Sr, Ti, Zn, Mn, P, Cr, K, Li, Na, Ni, Mg, Al, Fe in Euonymus fortunei was developed by using ICP-AES together with HNO3 digestion. ResultsThe average recovery was 99.94% ~ 118.3% and the RSD (n = 5) of 0.78% ~ 3.27%. The results show that the samples contains large amount trace elements, and is particularly rich in human-body-needed trace elements. The trace elements play important medical roles in plant medicine. ConclusionICP-AES is rapid, accurate and simple to determine the inorganic elements in Euonymus fortunei.
