Methods Retrospective analysis of 60 cases of IMS clinical manifestations and treatment. The results of organic phosphorus pesticide poisoning complicated with intermediate syndrome of 60 patients suffered from varying degrees of respiratory muscle paralysis, the timely establishment of artificial airway and mechanical ventilation and the cholinesterase agent application, cured 50 cases, 10 deaths cases. Conclusion intermediate syndrome should be early identification, early establishment of artificial airway and mechanical ventilation is an important way to save. Emergency department with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning (acute organophosphorus pesticides poisoning, AOPP) concurrent intermediate syndrome (intermediatesyndrome, IMS) is a AOPP treatment through a positive, acute cholinergic crisis disappears, delayed peripheral neuropathy occurs before the appearance of a group of with muscle weakness as the outstanding performance of the clinical syndrome [1].
