Methods in our hospital from January 2000 to March 2008 12 patients treated in clinical PSPH. Results the pancreas in 12 patients with primary disease were 6 cases of chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic pseudocyst in 4 cases, benign pancreatic body and tail in 1 case, 1 case of pancreatic cancer. All patients had varying degrees of splenomegaly, normal liver function .11 patients underwent surgical treatment, a routine selective splenic artery embolization. Conclusion pancreatic disease may be complicated by a variety of regional portal hypertension, therapy should take into account the primary disease and portal hypertension both in order to achieve good effect.
