Expression and clinical significance of plexinA1 and ki67 in human brain gliomas Major: Neurosurgery Candidate: Wang Weijun Supervisor: Yang Hua [Abstract] Objective: To explore the expression and clinical significance of plexinA1 and ki67 in human brain gliomas . Methods: 43 specimens of brain gliomas from 43 patients underwent the brain gliomas surgery in first zone of neurosurgery department of affiliated hospital of Guiyang Medical College from November 2011 to December 2013 were collected, and divided into the grade I-II group, grade III group and grade IV group by the pathological grading. The positive expression of plexinA1 and ki67 in brain gliomas specimens were detected by using the immunoh- istochemical method. The positive expression and clinical significance of plexinA1 and ki67 among the different pathological grade specimens were compared, and the correlation of plexinA1 and ki67 was analyzed. Results: The positive expression rate of plexinA1 in the grade I-II group, grade III group and grade IV group were 22.22%(4/18),66.67% （8/12 ）and 76.92% （10/13）,the positive expression rate of plexinA1 in the grade III and IV group was obviously higher than that in the grade I-II group, the difference was statistically significant (all P0.05), but the difference was not statistically significant between the grade III group and grade IV group(P0.05).The positive expression rate of ki67 in the grade I-II group, grade III group and grade IV group were 16.67%(3/18),58.33% （6/12 ）and 61.54% （8/13 ）,the positive expressi
