Operators with irregular singularities possess di?erent qualitative propertiesandrequiredi?erentinvestigations. Sincethesolutionsof(1.1)mayhavesingularitiesattheendpointsoftheinterval,and sinceingeneralthevaluesofthesolutionsandtheirderivativesattheendpointsarenot de?ned, animportant question ishowtointroduce singular two-point boundary con- ditionsinthegeneral caseunderconsideration. Forsomeparticular casesthisproblem hasbeen studied in[4,5,6,15,21,23]and other works. Forexample, in[4]singular boundary conditionswereconstructedinthecasewhentheendpointsareoflimit-circle type. Inthis paper,weprovide ageneral method forde?ning two-point singular bound- ary conditions inthe above-mentioned general case. InSection2,weconstruct singu- lar boundary conditions and formulate the corresponding boundary value problems.
