Science education intelligence and moral force
[Summary] This paper analyzes the scientific and technological progress of the positive and negative effects of human society, based on the discussion of the current international science education problems. Author believes that science can bring to mankind a powerful intellectual and spiritual strength, social progress and the world of science is the foundation of peace in the whole of mankind should be with great enthusiasm to promote science education.
About a year ago, Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew and the Soka Gakkai International President Daisaku Ikeda to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong to receive an honorary doctorate from the school. This is their social and cultural affirmation of the tremendous contribution made. I was one of the presence of the audience to enjoy their success. At that time, I did not think a year later, I had the opportunity in Singapore Soka Association for the inaugural lecture. This speech on behalf of the noble ideals of our times, and ardent expectations.
Scientific and technological progress and its impact on livelihood
My speech is entitled “Science Education in intelligence and moral strength.” First, let us explore the basic meaning of the subject: the nature of science, and science to bring everything. Scientific and technological development over the past fifty years has made brilliant achievements.
