On Second Language Acquisition by Cross-Cultural Communicative Competence Abstract: language are the main significance lies in communication exchanges. In this paper, the current status of the teaching of English, presented in Second Language Acquisition by Cross-Cultural Communicative Competence of the conditions necessary, as well as English teachers in this process played a role with a view to explore ways to guide students to attach importance to Second Language Acquisition cultural input, to enhance their English language knowledge-based capabilities, non-verbal communication skills and cross-cultural communicative competence. Keywords: English learning; language the basics of capacity; cross-cultural communicative competence 1 Introduction A language reflects a nation’s culture. Language and not only know how to understand the relevant cultural, it will make our language learning into a misunderstanding: see the trees but not the forest, making it difficult to truly grasp the kind of language. The United States distinguished linguist Edward Sapir (1921) pointed out: “Language can not be divorced from culture exists, can not be inherited from the social practices and beliefs, these practices and beliefs in general determines the nature of our lives.” My liberal arts English syllabus explicitly requires: “teaching and learning activities must not only be conducive to language training, but also conducive to the cultivation of communicative competence; not only the emphasis on the sentence level language training, but also the progressive development in the discourse level of communicative competence” . In other words, language teaching activities, the purpose of teaching and learning, not just basic knowledge, including basic language, that is the basic voice, vocabulary and grammar; also contain a reasonable use of these basic knowledge to carry out decent communicative ability to communicate. For a long time, our English language learning is a com
