Abstract This paper analyzes a number of developed countries in mathematics curriculum reform process, noting that these countries the common trend in mathematics curriculum development. Mathematics curriculum reform in developed countries with experience in the mathematics curriculum in China to make some constructive ideas, and discussed the new high school mathematics curriculum in the Construction of two questions.
Mathematics curriculum construction is the key to mathematics education reform, which embodies a country-specific period of mathematics education goals and educational thinking, and mathematics education for a country’s future role in the development of forward-looking. The current world especially in developed countries, from to meet the challenges of the information society to develop the requisite human resources in the 21st century point of view, one after another math curriculum reform. With the launching of China’s nine-year compulsory education, the new junior high school mathematics curriculum has been implemented, the interface with the new high school math teaching materials are being piloted. In this context, comparative study of the direction of reform mathematics curriculum developed for the construction of China’s mathematics curriculum has a positive significance.
