The FLMA is easy to use and has only a little damage and stimulate to the respiratory passage，which the patients are liable to bear and has fewer complications. It can maintain not only spontaneously breathing but also positive pressure ventilation. FLMA has been gradually used in the clinical anesthesia. To study and determine the benefits and risks of various artificial airways according to the operations；to explore the choosing of the FLMA and intrao-perative management. Sum up the clinical features of the FLMA，imbedding and maintenance，indication，contraindication，and complication，clinical application and matters needing attention. Choose the FLMA reasonably according to the operation and do further research for its clinical features，imbedding and maintenance，indication，contraindication，and complication，and make sure it is safer and more effective in the future clinical application.
