家蚕Chs 和Cph-like 基因的表达特征及其调控作用 英文摘要
the midgut
Our research group cloned a midgut-specific and novel hypothetical cuticular
protein-like (Cph-like) gene based on sex-disparity serial analysis of gene expression
(SAGE) libraries of the Bombyx mori midgut. The expression of Cph-like was
regulated by endocrine hormones and feeding. The further experiment of RNAi and
cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus (CPV) infection showed that the male-biased CPV
resistance of larvae was related to the Cph-like gene expression. Protein sequence
analysis showed the CPH-like protein do not belong to the peritrophic membrane
protein, and western blotting results showed it was a midgut protein. The midgut
occurred ulceration and abnormal molting of silkworm larvae after RNAi of ChsB gene,
and along with the down-regulated of CPH-like protein. This suggesting that Cph-like
gene probably participated in the histogenesis and maintenance of the midgut.
