AbstractObjective:Toanalysistherelationshipsbetweentheserumlevelofsolublevascularadhesionprotein(sVAP-1)andHCVRNAload,ALT,AST,γ-GT,TBil,Albandhyaluronicacid(HA)inpatientswithchronichepatitisC(CHC),toexploretheroleofsVAP-1asinflammatoryfactoronthepathogenesisofchronichepatitisC.Methods:90CHCpatientswereenrolledinthisstudy,Inourresearch,90casesCHCpatientsweredividedinto2groups:30cases serum HCV RNAnegative(CHC1gruop)and 60 cases serumHCV RNAopsitive(CHC2gruop);30caseshealthyindividualswereenrolledinourresearch..Informedconsentwasundergovenousbloodcollectiononanemptystomach,centrifugalsupernatant,-70refrigeratorfrozenstorage.TheserumlevelsofsVAP-1andHAweredeterminedbyELISA;Liverfunctionwasassayedbyautomaticbiochemistryanalyzer;thelevelofserumHCVRNAinpatientswithCHCwasmeasuredbyreal-timepolymerasechainreaction(PCR).Normallydistributeddataweresummarizedasmean±standarddeviation,andintergroupcomparisonsweremadebyt-testoranalysisofvariance;Non-nonmallydistributeddatawerepresentedasmedianwithinterquartilerange,andintergroupcomparisonsweremadebyWilcoxontest;Correlationanalysisamongindexweremadebyspearmantest.Results:InCHCandhealthycontrolgroups,thelevelofserumofsVAP-1were(148.54±48.60),(72.23+35.82)ng/ml(t=9.187,P=0.041);InCHCandhealthycontrolgroups,thelevelofserumHAwere(140.09±47.96),(75.07±24.09)ng/ml(t=4.047,P=0.048);ThelevelsofserumsVAP-1inCHCpatientswithnormalALT,mildlyelevated ALT,evidentlyelevatedALTwere (96.69±29.48),(128.88±21.81),(187.79±30.04)ng/ml (F=84.30,P0.001);the levels ofserumHAwere(89.36±27.66),(110.91±27.63),(149.19±30.16)ng/ml(F=33.01,P0.001),respectively;ThelevelofserumsVAP-1inthepatientswithHCVRNA positivewashigherthaninthepatientswithHCVRNAnegative,thelevelofsVAP-1wasnosignificantdifferencebetweeneachgroupofHCVinfectors(P0.05);SignificantlypositiveassociationswerehighlybetweenserumsVAP-1andHA,ALT,AST,γ-GT,TBil(γs=0.804,0.661,0.715,0.372,0.434,P0.01),thelevelserumofsVAP-1wasnegativelycorrelatedwithalbumin(γs=-0.484,P0.01),andwasnotpositivelycorrelatedwi
