ExtractionandDynamicMonitoringofGrassResourceInformationBasedonRSData──ACaseStudyinHabaheCounty,XinjiangAbstractChinahasavastareaofgrassresourcewhichisnotonlythematerialbasisfordevelopingthenationaleconomy,butalsoanaturalprotectionofterrestrialecologicalenvironment.Atthesametimeitisvitalimportanttolearnaboutspace-timeconfigurationstatusofgrassresourcetimelyandaccuratelyforitisarelativelyfragileecosystemandChinesenaturalgrassresourcefacessuchproblemsasareadecreased,thequalitydeclined,grassresourceandlivestock’scontradictionsharpened,andsoon.Remotesensingmonitoringwiththefeaturesoflarge-scaleofthearea,small-scaleofthetimeandgraspingthesituationofgrassresourceinreal-time,couldprovidestrongsupportforthedynamicmonitoringandanalysismanagementofthegrassresource.TakingHabaheCounty,XinjiangUygurAutonomousRegionasanexample,thestudymadeuseofmulti-temporalMODIS,LANDSATandHJstarmulti-spectralimagedata.Afterpreprocessingthedataandbyanalyzingthespectralcharacteristicsofgrasslandresources,thestudyextractedtheinformationofgrasslandresourceswiththemethodsofdecisiontreeclassificationandsupervisedclassification.Determinedthegradinginformationandmonitoredthetemporalandspatialdevelopmentofthestudyareain2007growthperiodandannualandinter-annualof2000-2010.RemotesensingdatapreprocessingRemotesensingdataofdifferentpre-treatmentisslightlydifferent.MODISdataismainlyusesoftwareofMRTtotakeprojectionconversionsothatallresearchdataunderthesameprojectioninformation;TM/HJsatellitedatapreprocessinginclude:banddatacalculationoftheHJstar,transformtheDNvaluesintoradiancedensityvaluestostrikeaspectralresponsefunction,andthenuseFLAASHmodeltotakeatmosphericcorrectionofTM/HJsatellitedatarespectively.TakingtheTMdataasreferencedata,repositionsatellitedataontheTM/HJwithpolynomialcorrectmodelandre-samplingwithcubicconvolutioninterpolationtocompletethegeometricexactcorrectioninwhichtheRMSerroris0.37pixels.Theresultsshowed:radiationcorrectioncaneliminatetheinterferencelikeatmospheretoremotesensingdata,restoreobje
