英语语法是综合语言运用能力中语言知识的重要组成部分。传统的语法教学把学 生当作被动接受知识的容器,一般只重视语法的传授与记忆,要求学生不断地记忆与 背诵,以及套用所谓的“公式”,忽略学生思维能力的培养。这种教学方法显然已经 不符合新课程标准和素质教育的要求。如何教好语法已经成为众多一线教师想要攻克 的难题之一。启发式教学虽是一种古老的教学方法,但其坚持以学生为中心,注重培 养学生思维能力,是实施素质教育的较好选择。根据高中英语语法教学现状,本研究 提出了“启发式教学能有效消除英语语法盲点”的研究假设,以奉新一中高一年级两 个平行班为被试,其中实验班运用启发式教学:以学生为中心,让学生在原有知识和 认知水平的基础上,主动建构知识意义,给予他们更多的自主权;控制班运用传统的 语法教学:以教师为中心,学生被动地接受知识,按照教师的要求背诵与记忆。通过 对比实验班与控制班的教学效果,来验证上述研究假设是否成立。统计数据表明实验 班与控制班的教学效果存在显著差异(P=0.021﹤0.05),说明研究假设成立,即启发 式教学在消除英语语法盲点上具有显著成效,能有效地提高英语学习者的语法成绩, 从而进一步提高学生的语法水平,同时实验后调查问卷结果显示此教学方法深受学生 的喜爱。

English grammar is an important part of language knowledge in comprehensive linguistic competence. Traditional grammar teaching treats students as the passive container to receive the knowledge, generally emphasizes the teaching and memory, and ignores the cultivation of student’s thinking competence. Students are required to memorize and recite constantly and use the so-called “formula”. Apparently, this teaching method has not accorded with the requirement of new curriculum standard and quality education. How to teach grammar well has become one of the difficult problems that many front-line teachers want to solve. Although heuristic teaching is an ancient teaching method, it considers students as the center, and pays attention to train students’ thinking competence, which is a good option for the implementation of quality education. According to the grammar teaching situation in high school, the study proposes a hypothesis that heuristic teaching method can effectively eliminate the English grammar blind spots. And the subject of the research is the students from two parallel classes of grade one in NO.1 High School of Fengxin County.
