Ask the students to read the words and phrases by themselves using the phonetics and underline the difficult words that they can’t pronounce, such as ticket, comfortably, creative, magician, example, seriously. 2. Encourage the students to read the difficult words with their partners. One student reads, the other listens and helps to correct the wrong pronunciations. 3. Get several students to read the words aloud in turn in class and the others correct their wrong pronunciations. If necessary, the teacher corrects them. 4. Read the words after the tape. 5. The students read the words aloud by themselves while the teacher walks around the class to see if the students have any questions.
