; using the repeated measures analysis of variance of NPY level determination: 3 days after surgery, NPY content of surgical group and sham group was significantly increased compared with before surgery, it was significantly statistical difference (P 0.01), while no significant difference in the control group (P 0.05); 30 days after surgery , NPY levels of surgical group were significantly reduced (P0.01) compared with the sham group after 3 days.And difference was more obvious between the sham group and the surgical group (P0.01), and both were higher than the control group (P0.01); 60 days after surgery, NPY level of surgical group had started to rise slowly compared with 30 days after surgery (P0.01), while NPY level of the sham group and control group were unchanged (P 0.05); 90 days after surgery, NPY level of surgical group had continued to gradually increase compared with after 60 days (P0.01), while NPY levels of the sham group and control group were unchanged (P0.05), difference between any two groups were statistically significant (P0.01); using the linear regression analysis of factors related to cervical vertigo: the angle based on improved Rivlin method (slope test) as the dependent variablity was significantly affected by NPY level and diameter of the vertebral artery as independent variablity, P values were 0.028, of which the slope angle was positively correlated with vertebral artery diameter.
