三峡大学硕士学位论文 三 峡 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 内 容 摘 要 经济全球化背景下，全球商务活动对世界经济进程的影响日趋深刻，在世界经济 活动中扮演着越来越重要的角色。近几十年来，尤其不断深化的改革开放以及高速发 展的社会经济，使我国与世界各国的经济往来尤其是商务来往日趋频繁。在此过程中， 商务英语，尤其是商务合同，作为我国参与国际金融交流的手段之一，其重要性，不 言而喻。 作为商务英语中一个标志性的符号，合同翻译涵盖大量专业知识。不仅如此，随 着经济的飞速发展，商务活动的加深，会不断衍生出新的概念以及术语，这就要求译 者具备扎实的基本功，并且根据商务活动的不同和规范译文。 本报告基于笔者在导师引领下的两年翻译实践。在翻译过程中，笔者发现在合同 中功能对等理论使用广泛。本报告以国外学者尤金·奈达(1964)的“功能对等”理论 为依托，从“海南度假村管理协议”的译文中摘取实例，以英译中翻译过程中的任务 描述与处理为主线，分析在翻译的不同阶段采取的不同策略，探讨译员参与翻译活动 应当具有的能力与素质，以期可以为以后的 MTI 教学提供参考。 关键词：功能对等； 合同翻译； 项目管理能力 ii Abstract With the development of global economy, global business activity which plays a more and more important role in world economy activity. In recent years, especially continuously developing opening up and high-speed developing social economy, make the tide between our economy activity and other country’s economy especially business activity closer and closer. In this process, the importance of business English especially business contract as a key mean to involve in international finance communication is more than I can say. Contract translation as a symbol, involves a large group of professional knowledge. Moreover, along with the high-speed developing economy, and the deepened business activity, there will always appear new concepts and terminologies. That requires the translator to equip themselves with solid skills and translate the original text according to business content and rules. This report is based on the two-year translating practice under the supervision of my tutor. In translating process, the author found that the functional equivalence theory is widely used in this kind of text. In this report, the author picked up some examples from Resort Management Agreement, mainly analysed the process of how to deal with the task according to Eugene Nida’s functional equivalence theory, and researched the ability and quality a translator should be provided with, if he or she wants to be a qualified translator.
