Because of its position in the history of bibliography, current researches mainly focus on aspects of bibliography while research in literature thought is relatively few. Based on existing research, this essay makes an relatively comprehensive exploration of the literary thought in Han Shu · Yi Wen Zhi. Paper is divided into five chapters: Chapter One analyses poetic view in Han Shu · Yi Wen Zhi. Combined with the analysis of discrete academic origin and classification criteria of Six Strategies of Han Shu · Yi Wen Zhi, it points out the reason of single list of Poetry and Rhapsody Strategy and different nature of poetry section of Six Arts Strategy and Poetry and Rhapsody Strategy which determines the situation of two discrete recording of poetry. Meanwhile, combined with the writing situation of simple preface of Poetry and general preface of Poetry and Rhapsody Strategy, it notes that three poetic views, difference of poetry and rhapsody, integration of poetry and music, creative principle of realism of poetry. Chapter Two analyses view on Cifu of Han Shu · Yi Wen Zhi. Integrated with general preface of Poetry and Rhapsody Strategy, it points out views on Cifu of Han Shu · Yi Wen Zhi which respectively are the nature of chanting Fu rather than singing it , the origin of Fu from poetry and social functions of expressing people’ s situation and spreading allegory, propagandizing emperor’s virtues and accomplishing filial piety. Combined with the situation of five categories of poetry and Fu, it notes the classification criteria of Fu from poems and preliminary consciousness of stylistic awareness.
