Urban youth, how to transform their identity to be a Christian, and what factors playing a role in the construction process and what is the formation mechanism in the process, and the above is the focus of this thesis. In this thesis, based on located on the long-term participant observation of the religious organization, and also the in-depth interview of eleven young Christians the thesis tries to analyze the mechanism and the way of the construction of Urban Youth Christian identity. This thesis includes the following main contents: urban youth identity and transformation, namely the reason of trusting religion and the way of obtaining legitimacy identity; they confirm and strengthen the identity through the ceremony and ritual interaction ; and through combining identity in daily life to co
