PAGE PAGE 1 安徽财经大学硕士学位论文 A STUDY ABOUT THE COST OF LOGISTICAL EFFICIENCY ON FOREIGN TRADE ——EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS BASED ON TRADE GRAVITY MODEL ABSTRACT Integrated domestic and foreign scholars’ research on the relations between the logistics and international trade, it mainly categorized as: the relations between the logistics and international trade from the perspective of the logistic cost; the relations between the logistics and international trade using different regions, different Industries as the study object; the relations between the international logistics and import and export volume in detail verified by the statistical model. This article has an empirical study on Chinese goods exports, imports, import and export volume from the perspective of the logistics cost which combines with the Trade Gravity Model. Finally it reveals the influence of Chinese logistics on international trade. Firstly, the article points out that the logistics cost changes the trade mode and the distribution of benefits, and then analyses the content to logistics cost and its impact mechanism on the import and export trade. Later, the article analyses the development situation of the Chinese logistics cost. The paper introduces the trade gravity model as the theoretical framework, and has a reasonable amendment. Finally, the author puts forward the model assumptions according to the research angle. This article uses the Chinese units of goods turnover costs on behalf of Chinese logistics cost, researching the Chinese logistics impact on trade. Through regression analysis and causality of the Grainger test, can be concluded: the reduction of the unit goods turnover cost has apparent effect on international trade, and proves that the Chinese logistics cost has significant influence on the import and export trade.
